The Hartsville-Trousdale County Government website has undergone a major update with new features, improved navigation and enhanced accessibility.
鈥淲hen the county contracted with ReviZe in 2021, we were told that after four years we could have a refresh to the website as part of the contract,鈥 said Amy Thomas, the county鈥檚 Administrative Officer and Budget Director, 鈥淎fter researching other government sites and making a list of what would and wouldn鈥檛 work, The ReviZe team built us a workable platform that went live on June 10.鈥
The updated website has been reformatted for easier viewing across desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices. Visitors will notice cleaner fonts, improved color contrast, and a more user-friendly layout designed to make information easier to find and read.
Most importantly, the site has been updated to meet ADA accessibility standards, helping ensure all users can access county information and services.
One of the new features allows citizens to receive notifications when meeting agendas are posted. Simply click the green notification bell located on the lower lefthand side of the page(s) to subscribe and receive alerts whenever a new agenda or document is uploaded.
The homepage now also includes a dedicated news section where important announcements, updates, and community information can be shared with the public.
Residents are encouraged to visit the refreshed county website at and explore all the new features.
Thomas is currently serving as the webmaster; however, elected officials and department heads have control over their individual pages.
As with any large website update, there are still a few pages that need additional organization and fine-tuning. County staff welcome feedback from users who encounter broken links, formatting issues, outdated information, or other concerns.
If you discover something that needs attention, please email contact@trousdalecountytn.gov and include the webpage link in your message so it can be added to the priority list for review and correction.
